You asked Sienna to take you to Fairyland straightaway, figuring that even if Jack Frost and his goblins had smuggled Ruby out of the kingdom, they might have left a clue or two behind!
“Good idea!” Sienna smiled, spiraling up to the ceiling. Suddenly your hair felt shimmery and tickly. You looked up to see the Fun Day Fairy flying above you, sprinkling a fountain of fairy dust all around.
“What’s happening?” You asked, as the room around you began to grow bigger and bigger. At first you seemed to shrink at a slow rate, but quickly, you began to shrunk faster and faster, your bed now a landscape before your decreasing size.
“I’m shrinking you down to fairy-size of course!” Sienna burst into giggles, then pointed at the gauzy pair of wings that had appeared on your back.
Before you could say another word the wings began to gently flap. It only took a little wriggle of your shoulders to make them go faster. You walked to the end of your bed and looked down, your bedroom floor looking like it was a million miles away! You wondered to yourself if you could really be only a few centimetres tall.
“Ready to go?” Asked your new friend, pointing to the bedroom window.
You reached for Sienna’s hand and gently fluttered out of the window, looking into the sky.
“Look!” You shouted, after a little while. “I can see my school!”
Sienna nodded, then led you a little further up, towards a row of white puffy clouds. The two of you flew through the clouds for a long time.
You giggled. They felt like big cool pieces of cotton.
“We’re just above Fairyland now,” Sienna told you. “Where do you want to go first?”
