"Oh crap!" Roy suddenly blurted out as he realized he no longer had the device. Logic dictated that it had stayed up in his apartment and that the Goth girl now had it. He hurried back up to his apartment and tried barging in, but the door was locked. "Hey...open the door!" he shouted out, banging on the door. As he waited for someone to answer he peered down at his 'ridiculous' Goth girl outfit; he felt particularly stupid wearing the girl's skirt and boots.
Suddenly the door opened, and Roy's eyes widened at the sight of the teenage goth girl standing there...wearing his Burger Bonanza uniform. "Can I help you?" the girl asked, as she held the door open.
"Yes, erm...there's something of mine in here, a weird looking device" Roy told the girl, as he tried to enter his apartment.
"Er...what do you think you're doing?" the girl said, moving to block him. "This is my apartment, everything in it belongs to my roommate or me!" she stated firmly. "Who are you anyway?" she then asked, eliciting a worried frown from Roy.
"I'm er...I'm Roy!" he muttered nervously.
The girl, who now had his life, just laughed at him. "Funny name for a chick isn't it?" she said. She then put her arm across the doorway when Roy tried to enter the apartment again. "Look, if you don't stop annoying me, I'm calling the cops" she warned him, making him back off. When the door was slammed in his face, Roy realized just how much of a mistake he had made. He'd switched lives with a random teenage girl, and now she had the device, which was the only way he could swap back.
He raised his arm again to knock on his apartment door, but then had second thoughts, this was the wrong way to go about getting the device back, and he knew it. He'd just wait until the girl left to go to his crappy job and then sneak back into the apartment. Or he'd tail her to work and snatch the device somehow if she happened to take it with her. Roy knew he just couldn't be stuck with this girl's life; he had to get his own back, even though he hated it.
