The first thing you needed was a room. The massive gator behind the counter intimidated you more than the other patrons, but you had little choice. You made your way across the crowded room. Some of the guests glared at you as you passed. You rang the bell sitting on the counter. The gator woman had her snout buried in the guest ledger and took no notice of you. There was no way you could leave the inn right now, so you needed to get her attention. You bang on the bell a couple more times, but with more force. Your hand comes down for the third time, however, a sharp green claw catches your hand.
"I take it you need a room for the night?"
You are caught off guard by the gator's change of focus and nod meekly in response. The gator scratches her chin before pointing to the numerous keys hanging on the wall. Were you supposed to take a key? The thought crossed your mind, however, the reptilian behemoth blocked your way. You pondered your next move. Nothing was coming to you. Your trance is broken by the gator's shrill voice.
"We have no rooms left for the night. I could make an exception if you do me a little favor."
