At one point, Vault-Tec bought out Globotech. They put the Gwendy dolls equipped with X-1000 chips in Vault 100, just to see what might happen in a vault where the children's toys rebelled against their human owners. There were a lot of Gwendys in each and every room. They even made sure to have every area have an entrance for a Gwendy doll to enter or exit. There even was a of mannequins, Protectrons, and Mr. Handys.
However, after all the rooms were prepared, someone lost the key that led to the Vault door. Before a replacement key could be found, the bombs fell.
The Gwendy dolls grew bored as the years passed. They took apart the Protectrons and Mr. Handys and then used their parts to turn all the Mannequins into full size Gwendys. There still was a lot of parts left over, though. So a few Mr. Handys were rebuilt, but given a Gwendy makeover.
The Gwendys even managed to reprogram the Vault's computer to think and act just like a Gwendy.
Then one day, the Gwendy computer sensed someone accessing the Vault door. All the Gwendy dolls gasped as they ran into position and waited.
