Chapter #4Jimmy's dreams just might become reality by: kevinb1   Until he was holding the neon green glow stick looking item in his hands, only it wasn't in the shape of a glow-stick but a circle made out of the same plastic material a glow-stick is made out of with a green liquid inside.
Holding the item, thinking about the power that could be in his hands, remembering just yesterday reading Kevin's message on Facebook the day Kevin received it as a gift.
"Dude I finally got it, a way to swap bodies, now I just have to decide on what woman I'm going to become."
Of course he thought it was another joke or a role play Kevin wanted to do, for Kevin had a big crush on his wife wanting to swap places with her so badly as he says.
"Seriously what now" Jimmy replied back ready to hear Kevin's elaborate tale.
"I got it from a woman about in her late 20's who was walking in the park pushing a sleeping baby in a stroller. I was just sitting on a bench over looking the lake and she came right up to me and said I think you might want this and she pulled it out of her diaper bag. She told me it's power and what it could do and how to use it. I knew she was someone else with that body but I didn't want to ask. Kevin went on to describe it in his message.
Jimmy laughed hearing this tale of course not believing his story for a second, he even wrote back "so who do you plan on using it on first, Kristin?"
"Maybe, I haven't decided, I never actually thought my dreams could become reality" Kevin messaged back immediately.
Jimmy of course laughed again, Kevin was really sticking to this story, so he replied back "this actually happened, your being serious and you believed her."
"Yes it did and yes I believe her, there was something about her, a happiness, a fulfilled look on her face. Besides what stranger in the park especially a mom pushing a baby in a stroller would come up to a man sitting on a bench alone and give them what she did and tell them that story?"
He did have a point a crazy person but a mom pushing a baby in a stroller, then telling that story when she could have just gotten rid of the device and no one would be the wiser. What if it was actually true, Kevin would use it and become a woman and I'd be stuck as myself, Jimmy pondered.
"Well don't you want to test it out first, tomorrow is Friday why not fly out to Vegas and we'll see what we can do with it, Kristin will be around."
Jimmy couldn't believe what he just wrote, what he just suggested, he wanted to take it back the second after he hit send. However the thought of having that power at his finger tips was mind blowing, to finally have his dreams come true, he had to take the chance, he stared at the screen eagerly waiting for Kevin's reply.
"All right, I guess I do have to test it just in case. I'll get a flight out to Vegas then"
"I can pick you up from the airport" Jimmy quickly wrote back not wanting to let the item out of his possession one second longer then he had to, "might want to get a hotel just in case."
"Makes sense in case Kristin doesn't go along with the plan besides it won't be my bill to pay anyway."
Jimmy laughed because he was thinking something else, in case it didn't work. Minutes passed by in silence, with Jimmy looking at his screen, no word from Kevin until you a new message appeared
"Got a hotel, and my flight arrives at 4:30"
"Sounds good" Jimmy replied, "who should I become, that is after you're Kristin" he joked with him as they started their usual role play.
Then bed time came the whole night Jimmy couldn't sleep tossing and turning all night, the dangers, the consequences, the possibilities flowing through his mind. Should he even show up at the airport, would Kevin even be there? Then when Kristin spoke to him like she did that morning, that erased any doubts. Nervous waiting at the airport, Jimmy saw Kevin coming, his 6'4 frame easily visible with a backpack on his shoulders.
They made small talk walking through the airport, Jimmy taking the lead heading out to his car.
No more then a second went by after they got seated in the car and had the car doors shut, that Kevin asked the question Jimmy was waiting for.
"So do you want to see it."
"Yes" Jimmy watched Kevin open up the backpack sitting on his lap and pulled the item out giving it to him
Which brought Jimmy back to reality looking at the item, thinking about the power that could be in his hands, the next thought was what to do next?
"So how are we going to do this?"
Looking at Kevin sitting in the passenger seat, Jimmy had his answer ready.
