This choice: Meet Barbara and Tina at the water park. • Go Back...Chapter #3Return to Splash Zone by: Derpus   "Momma!" "Mommy!"You quickly turn your head to find your son and daughter excitedly running out of the room, Jack wearing a pair of white and blue swim trunks, while Selena wore a bright red swimsuit. "Hurry up and get changed or we're gonna be late!", he said, bouncing up and down with excitement.
That's right. You were supposed to meet up with Barbara and Tina to take your families out to the water park. In your current state, you knew that you would be quite vulnerable, possibly even more so than Jack. You knew how much Barbara liked to mess with you when you were squishy, and you weren't sure if Tina would have the urge to play with you, but you didn't want to find out. That's not even considering the possibility of getting squished by a stranger. What would become of your son or daughter if something happens to you?
But you saw how excited Jack and Selena were to go to the water park. They had been looking forward to this all week. You couldn't even think about how upset he would be if you just cancelled the trip without telling him why. You love your children more than anything. To get them excited for a trip with their friends, only to snatch it away for seemingly no reason seemed downright cruel. You decided that you were just going to have to be careful.
"*sigh* Alright, kids. Just give me a minute", you said. Within ten minutes, you had changed into a red and white one-piece swimsuit and slipped into a pair of sandals and a sarong and grabbed the cooler, making sure to spray yourself with perfume before heading out.
After about half an hour of driving, you grabbed your daughter carried her up to the entrance while Jack pulled the wheeled cooler behind him and quickly met up with Tina and Barbara. Once Jack set the cooler down, Mary quickly squeezed him, the girl wearing a swimsuit very similar to your own. As the children talked, you and your friends discussed the activities you had planned.
Immediately after you set down Selena, she began tugging on your sarong. "Mommy, can I go look for my friend, Natalie?", she asked. "Her sister works here, and her mommy brings her here every weekend. Please, Mommy?"
"The kids should be fine on their own", Barbara said.
"Yeah, the twins can take care of themselves", said Tina. "Jackie ought to be alright with Mary, huh?", she suggested. "And the two of them can take Selena to meet up with her little friend."
You weren't really sure. On one end, Jack has been trying to become more independent. On the other hand, you felt like your son would be safer with you. He was going to want to spend time with his little girlfriend, though. If safety was a concern, though, you could just tag along with both of them. It was pretty embarrassing to think that you would need a little girl for protection. Perhaps you could take Selena to meet up with her friend, Natalie. You would like to spend more time with your daughter, and you aren't very familiar with this friend of hers, despite hearing a lot about her at the dinner table. This might be a good chance to meet her. However, you had come here to spend time with your friends. They might be upset if you preferred to be with your son. Maybe you could use some alone time, though. Your friends would probably understand if you needed some time to yourself.
