This choice: Jenn is here looking for you, Bri. • Go Back...Chapter #5Jenn is looking for Bri by: yugglopo "Jenn is here looking for you, Bri. She's waiting downstairs." Kim said before starting return downstairs to do the laundry.
"Okay!" Bri said excitedly. She started to head out of Josh's room but saw a worried look on her brother's face. She turned to him and tried to comfort him with some words. "Don't worry Josh, I'll try not to ruin your friendship with her. I know you have a crush on her!" She said before laughing and ran out.
"I do not!" Josh yelled back, which he found to be pointless as Bri didn't hear him. Josh decided he was thirsty, so he wanted to go downstairs and get a drink. He out into the hall and started to walk down the stairs and saw Bri bringing Jenn up to her room.
As Jenn passed Josh, she stopped. "Wait Bri, that's your brother?" She asked.
"Uh... Yeah." Bri said stating what she thought was obvious. She didn't really understand what was going on. Josh seemed to catch on though. He realized that since Jenn and Bri were now friends, she never became friends with Josh, and therefore never knew him.
"He's in my biology class!" She said. "Hey, Josh! It's Jenn from biology."
He turned to face her. "Oh hey." His voice sounding nonchalant.
"Have you started studying for the test next week?" She asked curiously.
"Not yet. It's not till Wednesday, correct?"
"Well, yeah. But you never know, it could be difficult." Jenn said. She always used that phrase on Josh when trying to coordinate a study session between the two a week prior to the actual exam. Josh was a big procrastinator, so it never worked on him though.
"Okay well, see ya around!" He said.
"Bye!" Jenn replied before continuing to follow Bri.
Josh entered the kitchen and grabbed a cup and pressed the button on his fridge to fill it up with water. He then added crushed ice, just the way he liked it. As he was heading, back to the stairs, his mom came out of the lanundry room with a basket of clothes. "Here Josh! These are your clothes." She said, handing him the basket. He picked it up and placed underneath his right arm, with his water in his left hand. "Is your sister upstairs with her friend?" She asked him. He responded with a nod. "I wish your friends were more like Bri's." She suddenly said, which got a surprised look from Josh. "You need to start finding friends your own age." Kim added, before heading into the kitchen.
When Josh got upstairs, he placed to clothes on his bed for organization at a later time. He placed his water cup up next to his gaming chair and fired up his PlayStation. He could overhear a conversation between Jenn and his sister coming from the room that Bri and Courtney shared. "So I hear you have a big game tomorrow." Jenn told her.
"Yep!" Bri said excitedly, similar to the way she was before swapping friends with her brother. "It's the championship game."
"Don't worry, you'll do fine." Her new friend told her. "I've seen you play, your really good."
"Thanks!" His sister said happily. Josh noticed his sister seemed to be enjoying a mature conversation.
"Are you ready for me to help with your math homework?" Jenn asked. "Lemme see... Multiplication?"
"No, now it's dividing. My brother helped me with the multiplying." Bri told her.
"Well that's really sweet of him!" She said, which made Josh blush back in his own room.
He decided that was enough listening for that moment, so he got his mane of hair under control, tucking some behind his ears, and grabbed a controller.
