Your quarry on this mission was a vampire lord that had been terrorizing the local village, stealing people from their beds and taking them to his grim castle where they are never seen again. At least not in the same way they were before. Boys abducted by the lord often end up returning as mind-numbed ghouls, serving the dark lord's will with their vile, corrupted feet. Women and girls stolen by the vampire, however, are truly never seen again. It leads one to think that they are drained or worse, condemned to a life of suffering and slavery at the foul feet of tue undead.
Still, you do not falter. In the dead of the night you creep over to the Vampire Lord's castle, knowing that your best chance to catch him is while he's out of his tomb. Arriving at his gates, torch in hand, you survey the area. The gate is unlocked, and you assume the front door is as well. But the idea of traipsing directly into his foyer doesn't sit well with you. You circle the perimeter of the castle to see if there is any alternate entrances, and you find that around the back of the castle is a massive graveyard which has a balcony overlooking it. You could easily creep through the graveyard, climb up to the balcony and take him by surprise.
There's just one problem: The stench of the graveyard is beyond words! It's so disgusting that just standing at the edge of it causes you to take 5 MP damage. You certainly aren't going to want to meet whatever that reek is coming from. But then again, your hunter's spirit compels you. You can't stand the idea that something that evil is lurking in these graves, and you're sure that you could fetch a bonus reward for its head. Eventually you decide...
