Jennifer

    by: Gatonom Author IconMail Icon
Of course you'd get into an argument before school with your twin sister. Since it's in your way, you would kick away one of her stuffed kittens, she would glare at you, "Don't kick my things!" she says. As you begin a retort, you would watch as the room shifts, becoming pixelated and limited in color.

> Jennifer confronts you for disrespecting her things.
> She gains 5 points advantage for being treated rudely.
Argument Commencing!
--->Current Persuasion Control: 45% You vs 55% Jennifer

'What the heck is going on?" you thought asanother window opened up:
>Attack
>Defend
>Evade
>Compromise
>Run Away
>Item

The window reminded you of a newer Pokemon screen... "What's this about?" Reflexively, you clicked 'Attack' and then another list opened up:
>Blame Jennifer
>Mock stuffed animals.

You go with the first option, and you see a text box instead of speaking:
You: [Maybe you shouldn't leave your toys on the floor!]

>Jennifer Defends:
Jennifer: [That's no reason to kick it, you could have asked me to pick it up.]
>Defense Successful.

>Jennifer Attacks:
Jennifer: [You're just jealous I have better things than you.]

>Defend?

You think, and attempt to defend yourself.
>Defend
- > Defend against being jealous
- > Defend against having better things.

"Um.. no, I can't think of anything for that." you say to yourself, "Back..." you say, opting to not defend...

>Jennifer Gains 10 points with each successful attack.
>Attack Successful.
--->Current Persuasion Control: 35% You vs 65% Jennifer

>Escape
You try to escape, as it can only get worse.
>Escape Failed

>Jennifer Attacks
Jennifer: [Maybe you should apologize to Mr. Fluffy.]

You try to think of a way out of this, so you hit
>Compromise.
You: [I'm sorry for making this into an arguement.]

>Jennifer gains 10 points for successful attack
>Jennifer gains 10 points for successful challenge.
> Jennifer gains 5 points for compromise.
--->Current Persuasion Control: 10% You vs 90% Jennifer

>Argument Complete
>Jennifer gains Major Victory

Terms of Major victory for Jennifer are:
>Thomas apologizes for kicking Mr. Fluffy.
>Thomas apologizes to Mr. Fluffy for kicking him.
>Thomas decorates room according to a theme chosen by Jennifer
>Thomas will be responsible for picking up things from the floor

The strange surroundings would disappear, and everything would seem normal, Jennifer wouldn't seem to notice anything unusual, while you pick up the toy and look at it's plush eyes. "I'm sorry Mr. Fluffy, for kicking you." you take the toy over to her, unable to control yourself, "I'm sorry for kicking your toy." Jennifer smiles, while you feel more words come out of your mouth, "I'll make sure to pick up things from now on. How about you help me decorate our room?" you add.
