Chapter #6Birth of an adventurer by: Reborner   Entering the guild, you could feel their most of the adventurers' stares on you as you go to register. A woman, who was available behind the counter, smiles at you when you arrive at the counter and greets you warmly.
"Hi there! Seeing this is the first time, I can assume you're here to register?" She asks, you nodding your head.
"Okay then, can you fill out this form, so we can start and I'll explain everything as you do so."
Getting a sheet of paper and pen in front of you, your body automatically writes down everything required, much to the receptionist's surprise.
"Wow, that was quick!" She says before explaining.
"As you wait for your status plate to be made, I'll quickly do a run down for you: you'll start at rank F and earn rep points to go to the next rank by doing either quests, which can be found over there, or doing grand deeds, though the rep points are dependent on your attitude and level of difficulty of the quest. The max amount of quests that can be taken are three at a time and you can take quests that are either equal to your rank, lower than the current rank you're at, or one rank higher than yours, though it'll be worth as two quests taken. However, if you join a party that has a high rank level, you'll be able to do those quests together, though the loot will be shared equally. Discounts will be made for you at most stores and inns, where they'll show the guild's insignia, and you can work at other guilds while you travel around, whether you're in this country or another. As for work quota, you have to do at least three quests a month at your current rank, but this can be lowered to once a year at rank A and finally, you don't have to worry about the quota at rank S. As you go around the world as an adventurer, please keep your behavior in check, as failure to do so or to uphold any of the previously mentioned rules will revoke your right as an adventurer. With that concluded, I hope you become a wonderful adventurer and amazingly, your status plate is completed already! So here you are, sir, and if have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me or another staff member. Thank you and have a great day!" She said, handing over your new status plate, though you can see your status at any time, regardless of having it or not.
Heading over to the quest counter, you take three quests that you deem easy (though you manage to complete one of them, as it was a herb gathering one, and grab another) and head off. By the time you complete them, the day is almost over and you return to the guild, receiving your rewards. Heading towards the inn Rachel recommend for you, rent a room and try to log out. However, as you reach the system menu, you can't find it.
"What the... Let me look for it," you mutter to yourself before realizing that you can't find the log out option anywhere.
"Probably a bug," you said to yourself and go to sleep, though you couldn't shake the bad feeling you were getting from this.
A week goes by in the game world and you're still depressed from realizing you're stuck in this virtual world, but you still move on by doing quests to pass the time and pay off the rent at the inn. During this week you bought yourself some proper gear and your completion rate improved. You also leveled up a few days ago and was surprised at the growth of stats you received. Today, you debate whether or not you'll go out to this world as a working man, but your stomach rumbles, convincing you to move. You decide to do something special for today.
