The person carrying the tray of food seems to be some kind of anthro deer girl. She has a slender waist, but a decently sized rack and rear end. She's also completely nude! "Oh! You're awake! She shakes her head, "the whole game is run by an extremely advanced AI. It can stop the flow of certain information to us NPCs. It's also constantly collecting data on the Internet to keep us up to date on language and events. For example, I can tell you that at this point over 5 million people have purchased this game! Not that all of them are still...playing."
You don't like the way she says that, but you're too overwhelmed to pry further. "So uh...how do I tell the difference between a player and an NPC anyways? You act exactly like a normal person."
"Oh! I guess you chose to start in the woods then, huh? You really should have started in the Capital, that's where the tutorial building is! They give you a HUD there that displays names, health, and willpower. Players have a little 'p' in parenthesis after their name."
Huh...yeah, starting in the woods with no gear, experience, or any idea how to play the game was probably a bad idea. "Alright, I guess I should head that way then!" You start to get out of bed, but the deer girl pushes you back and puts the tray on your lap.
"No, first you should eat. Then, you can pay me back for saving you. You can leave after that, but I reeeaaally don't think you should go out at night. If you think the Stench Wolves smelled bad, the Werewolves are worse. And heaven forbid you run into a Succubus and she makes you cum your soul out!"
The thought gives you pause, and you immediately sit down and start eating. "So, what do you want me to do to repay you?"
