Your plan of becoming a master archer and ranger of the wilds started as most did, gaining levels hunting the beasts the Wild Woods provided. You learned much about your weapon and surroundings, growing adept at maintaining your bow as well as crafting custom arrows for it. You didn't play Kinkquest just to be a pure and good beacon of hope though. Those points in Libido weren't there for show. Whenever you did venture into town to resupply you spent a considerable amount of your earnings on women. It was all in good fun until one of them drugged you and took you to the Capital Alteration Lab. You woke up the next day penniless in a back alley. To your horror you discovered you had been given the body of an anthro skunk, a long bushy tail now adorning your rear and black and white fur covering your body. With only the rags on your body remaining you head out into the wilds once more, bitter and angry at this cruel twist of fate.
The hunt changed for you. Beasts of the wild didn't carry the same thrill anymore, and NPC bandits were plenty. You became a hunter of men as much as beasts, quickly learning to adapt your newfound skills to your benefit. Honing your craft allowed you to create ammo using your own skunk spray, allowing you to deliver your foulest stink from long range. Soon you had picked up the art of turning the beasts you killed into powerful poisons to incapacitate your prey in various ways. With a smile on your face you would see your targets fall down with paralysis or go mad with berserking rage, turning on their comrades. When all was done you took an almost perverse pleasure in personally ending the paralyzed bandits with your foul farts and spray. Your dreams of heroism grew ever more distant as the bandits in the woods began to replace the animals as your prey of choice. The final straw was the moment you met Bandero
During one of your many hunts you came across a small cave with baleful howling echoing from within. Whatever creature was in there was in great pain, it's cries for help cutting through your very soul. When you got close enough you saw the largest stink wolf you've ever seen being kicked and beaten by a human player. The player's weapons were discarded nearby, he was prolonging this fight for his own sick pleasures. His idiotic chuckling as he kicked the downed wolf in the head made your blood boil. With righteous fury to put three arrows in the back of his head, the first killing him on the spot with the remaining two in there just for good measure. The wounded beast looked up to see what mysterious creature its saviour was. When you got close it growled a little before finally calming down. You tended its wounds as best you could and over the next few weeks you nursed the beast back to full health. You had taken to calling him Bandero, on account of you thought it fitted for the great wolf. You had no idea why it was a little larger than a horse, but it didn't seem to bother the stench wolf in any way. Your affinity with nature and the weeks spent around Bandero also made you completely immune to his stink. When he was free to roam the wilds once again, the great stench wolf looked you in the eye and resolutely walked to you, sitting down beside you. You had made a friend for life, and immediately you saw an opportunity.
It cost you an arm and a leg, but you had a custom saddle built for Bandero, both so you could ride on his back and to protect him a little. Though hesitant at first, the stench wolf proved a great mount, helping you chase down your targets. His size made him a very effective Gasser mount to boot. In no time at all he'd learned how to incapacitate and even kill with his potent farts and belches. Furthermore he picked up the Voracity talents, allowing him to swallow humanoid prey whole with ease. The bond between you grew as you took on bandits and players alike. When a Knight, a player who took an oath to take down notorious player killers, was added to this stack of victims, you knew this was the life you wanted. Let those good-hearted fools muck about in their big cities. But should they dare venture into your woods, they would soon meet the infamous Tankred the Terrifying.
The day had only just started and already you were in a good mood. A foolhardy newbie had charged you and was now lying on the ground before you, poison coursing through his veins and numbing his muscles. You had stripped him naked, rifling through his belongings for some rations or anything of value. Bandero stood nearby, whimpering a little to get your attention. You look up to see his huge puppy eyes looking down at the writhing player, then back at you. With a big smile you nod, allowing the horse-sized stench wolf to deal with the player. With only a few throaty gulps he swallowed the man whole and alive. Suddenly a sound catches your ear. You rub your hands together in delight, that sounded like... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
