Lunch

Dani was picking at her food as she was dreading seeing Lauren.

She was not dreading to see Lauren, more her reaction to detention.

Lauren sat next to Dani giving her sulking body a kiss on the cheek, "Hi Spice."

Dani smiled up at Lauren, happy for her not changing her attitude towards her.

"You okay?" Lauren asked grabbing Dani's hand knowing that she texted because of some anxiety.

Dani shrugged feeling overwhelmed in general.

Lauren pulled Dani into a hug setting her lips on her temple.

Dani smiled at Lauren's touch it sending a calm warmth through her body.

"A little better?" Lauren asked and Dani nodded.

"Are you mad?" Dani wondered timidly not wanting Lauren to explode on her.

Lauren gave her a soft smile, "Of course not Spice, you are the most important thing in my life. I would have been mad if you didn't tell me."

"Bu-" Lauren cut Dani off with a kiss.

"I get to spend more time with you"
