"As small as this dolly!" Holly walked over to her desk and grabbed something. She opened her hand and showed her babysitter a doll that was maybe three or four inches tall.
"Are you serious? That's pretty small."
"Uhuh, that way all my other toys are way bigger!"
"I don't know Holly, I thinki—"
"Please! I'll be good! I promise!"
"Well, alright."
Alex began to adjust the dial on the gun. Meanwhile Holly danced around the room and got in place in the center of the room. Right in the middle of the shaggy round carpet. She giggled as the fibers tickled her bare feet. Her babysitter raised the size ray and aimed at her. He pulled the trigger and a ray of light hit her in the chest.
Holly groaned as the energy surged through her body. She seemed to be shivering at first, but in truth she was starting to get shorter. Alex watched in awe as immediately the cute girl in front of him lost half her height. She was shrinking much faster than he expected.
The dwindling girl screamed, but her voice was getting higher pitched. and lower in volume every passing second.
Her yellow dress fell to the floor. Holly was gone from sight, she disappeared!
Alex panicked for a second, but then saw a small form moving under the fabric. He slowly approached and carefully lifted the dress. Down in front of him stood a tiny girl. Holly was now less than four inches tall and totally naked. The fibers of the carpet came up to her chest. It looked like she was standing in a field of pink tall grass.
Her eyes and mouth opened wide as she saw Alex. She put her hands on her side and just stared at him. He guessed that to her he must look like a towering giant. The thought gave him a warm fuzzy feeling.
This was incredible. His device actually turned this little girl into a tiny doll.
