However, as Griotte traveled through the darkened dungeon, she'd find nothing that could harm her. Not a single Bane or Peril was in sight. Instead, at the end of the dungeon there was a single chest, which lay open... Such a strange thing to find... Oh well! I guess I'll be taking this then~ Griotte would say, as she walked up to the chest and took out the weapon inside. It was a long, silver lance, perfect for piercing defenses and combat on plains. Yes, this will do nicely duing my quest~" She said, giving it a few practice thrusts. Satisfied with her ability to use the weapon, she'd depart the dungeon, glad to leave it and it's foul smell behind her.
As she walked away from the dungeon, she could see the Traitor's Haven forest. The sight of it put a frown on her face, and she instantly became weary. She wasn't going to be caught off guard by anything so close to her destination, and especially not after she got through the dungeon unharmed. She would begin walking towards it, looking around herself as she searched for the location of the spirit stone. Eventually, she'd find what looked to be the place. An old, and strangely enough abandoned, temple. Griotte had no idea why there would be a spirit stone here, but there was one on an altar, glowing brightly with the Wyld's energy.
What a quaint place... Though at least there's an easy to grab spirit stone here!" Griotte would say, approaching the Altar. However, as she walked up to it, a mysterious assailant would emerge from the forest behind her and charge at her! Griotte would just barely have enough time to think on how she would deal with them.
