His whole body started to tingle. What was going on? He dropped the gun and looked around. The whole garden was moving. Every piece of his surroundings began to change, grow. The boy looked down and saw his clothes were quickly getting too large for him. They began to feel heavy and then he realized, he was shrinking!
Now it wasn't difficult to put two and two together. The gun must be the cause and he was desperate to reverse the process. His clothing thought otherwise, as he got smaller and smaller the fabric forced him down to the ground. All he could do was watch as his clothes filled his vision. Dylan wasn't sure if he was fighting his shirt or if he was stuck in his pants.
When he was done shrinking he finally managed to find a way out. To his surprise he had been stuck in his briefs, which looked like an enormous blanket now. Around him the grass stalks were as big as trees, and a foot away lay the gun which was now the size of a house. There was no way for him to handle it at his current height, he was only an inch tall if not smaller.
He cried out for a few minutes, but then realized it was far too dangerous for him to stay here at his tiny height.
