You fell backward and sighed as you felt the familiar upholstery and looked at the seafoam green walls. Your mom had poofed you back to your apartment. "Well that's great... how am I supposed to find those little brats from here? I guess Nikki's brother might be able to help..." Your thoughts were interrupted as the door opened, and your roommates walked in along with several others you weren't familiar with. There was a grey bunny anthro with long brown hair wearing red short shorts and a white sleeveless shirt their legs were really thick, and they didn't seem to be wearing shoes. There also seemed to be a human girl with her long black hair in twintails. She was wearing a pink hoodie with a white bunny on the chest, along with a purple skirt and knee-high socks with black shoes. There was also someone with blue-ish black shoulder-length hair and a grey button-up shirt. They had grey-ish brown pants, and mismatched shoes, with one of them being grey and the other white. They were probably Maddy's friends. She had mentioned that they were coming over. The bun was probably Mat, and the twintail girl was Kimmy. The barista-looking friend must have been AE, then. Following them, were a few people you were familiar with. There was Nikki's boyfriend, Zeke, and his little brother, Gabe. Also following them was Nikki's little angel brother, Zaine. He was honestly the one you were the happiest to see right now.
"This place is pretty nice, Maddy", said the Kimmy as she walked into the living room. "I still haven't seen that ghost lady you told me about, though..."
"Yeah, I can't wait to see that rainbow ocean at sunset... By the way, where's that grumpy roommate you were talking about?", asked Mat as they shut the door behind them.
"Oh, Ignacio?", Maddy asked. "He runs the burger place, so we probably just missed him. As for that creepy ghost lady..."
"Your poor friend works so very hard", Zaine said as he hovered in the air. "I feel so very awful for him and his situation."
Nikki hugged her little brother. "Aww... it's fine, Zainey", the cheerleader assured. "That's what he chose to do, and and he's a stubborn lil guy. Also, it's kinda sweet that his mama cares for him so much."
"I could bite him", Zeke said. "He can't be taken to Hell if he can't die. You want me to bite him?"
"Hehe... I'm sure he wouldn't like that", said AE.
"Guh!"
"Huh? You have an idea, Gabe?", Zeke asked.
"Guh! Guh-guh! Guh!" Suddenly Zeke's eyes (one of them, anyway) went wide as Nikki and Maddy turned bright red.
"G-Gabe! That is not okay!", Zeke yelled.
"S-such lewd language..." Zaine covered his mouth and blushed.
While the eight of them were talking, you tried jumping up and down to get their attention as best you could. "Hey! Right here, assholes! I need your help!" They didn't seem to notice you as they continued on their conversation. Then they began to head over to the couch. Soon after they turned around and began to lower themselves onto the seat, you sighed and stopped jumping.
