As the young CEO of the biggest corporation in Spectrum Bay, as well as head of the laboratory, Jacqui has a lot of responsibilities. For most people that are a bother to her, she can simply use one of her inventions to deal with them. However, her investors, board members, and even many of her employees have gotten smart to her strong-arming tactics and had the company start developing jewelry (such as earrings, bracelets, pendants, ect) that blocks negates the effects. She's smart enough to know not to try to figure out who's wearing them, so she's learned to be more considerate of her employees... at least until she's able to learn how to bypass such devices.
Because she's so young, many of her board members and investors don't take her seriously, with the young squishie girl sometimes having to go to extreme lengths to keep them happy and helping to keep everything she's worked for.
