"I had a growth spurt last night."

The effect is immediate as the paper disappears. You feel a tingling sensation start in your toes and it travels through your feet, legs, up your spine, and makes you shiver. Then you feel like you need to stretch, which you do, and while you do you feel your clothes tighten and your sleeves travel up your limbs. When you finish your stretch you feel your body, proud of what happened. Your shirt rose a bit to reveal your stomach, though only slightly, and your shoes were a bit tighter. Melissa didn't seem to notice anything, so you stood next to her. Melissa was usually 5'6", and though you had been two inches taller before, now you had half a foot on her. Standing at 6 foot even, you couldn't help but laugh.
"What's so funny?" Melissa asked, giggling a little too just because you had.
"You're just so...short!" you say as you look down at her. Her eyes are level with your chin, which you find incredibly funny. Your clothes do still feel tight though, which isn't funny. You decide you need to fix that.
