Izzie's parents had always told her that if she did what she loved, then the money would follow. The auburn-haired woman is now very convinced her parents are full of it.

She'd always loved history, and wanted to get into the field, but struggles with her studies left her GPA too low to try for her Masters. Making matters worse, she'd attempted to get herself published with her own money, as no publishing house would carry her book. Unfortunately, the book was a total flop, adding those debts on top of her crippling student loans.

As if her debt load and lack of professional and academic success wasn't enough, Izzie has been struggling with her weight since high school. From a graduating weight of 105 pounds, the bookish nerd has yo-yo'ed up and down until now, leaving her quite uncomfortable at a new, all-time high.

Recently split from her cheating fiance, Isabella has just gotten her first job since graduating six years ago, a fact her parents are all too keen to rub in. It was through a close friend of her mother that she even got this job, and none too soon, as she didn't have a dime for the rent on her apartment. Now, if she can just get her weight and debts under control, life will be good.

An alumni of Buttercombe academy, she'd spent her formative years in these very walls. This place had really helped her grow as a person. Literally.

Every semester at Buttercombe had seen her piling on the weight. Outgrowing uniforms quickly became a regular thing, and she was quite the target of fun for her siblings whenever she came home for a spell, far larger and hungrier then when she left. Every time, she swore that she would lose the weight, or at least halt her gain. And every time, she'd restrain her appetite for days at most, then start stuffing herself silly once again.

By the time she graduated, she was a whopping 412 lbs. Walking fifty yards without a break was a herculean task, and going more then an hour without dropping something sweet or greasy into her hollow leg, utterly unthinkable. Her weight continued to rapidly rise throughout her first semester of college, despite the less than fat-friendly atmosphere, but she hit a breaking point. Namely, in a single day during finals, she crushed her couch, split her pants, and got trapped in her car by her gargantuan belly. With the help of her room mate, she weighed herself that night, and was stunned to find out she was only six pounds short of breaking 500.

The huge young woman decided right then and there that enough was enough. Sticking to a strict exercise and diet program, she managed to shed an astounding 327 lbs. However, while her weight loss plan might have been successful, her professional life was less so. Despite sending out multiple resumes, only a handful of schools had called her in for an interview, and none had hired her.

Save one.

She'd only applied to Buttercombe as her back-up, back-up school, and much to her chagrin, they were the only ones willing to hire her. Beggars can't be choosers, though, so she'd accepted the job. Besides, she wasn't the weak-willed girl she'd been in her teens. This time, she'd control herself. This time, she wouldn't stuff herself like a prize winning hog. This time, she would keep working out. This time, she wouldn't gain an ounce. This time would be different.
