Chapter #7A hasty rescue by: Unknown The giant pixie in front of you had a yellow face and a round head, a red jewel in the middle of its forehead, right above its golden eyes, which had been reflecting you for a split second before its yellow eyelids fell into place while you sighed in relief, remembering what power this creature held: erasing the memories of those who looked at it straight in the eye.
This one legendary was called Uxie, the Being of Knowledge.
You didn't have further time to ‘admire the view’ though, because its paw suddenly darted forward, grabbing a hold of you before you could even think of reacting.
The pixie then shifted position as it stood up on its short, stubby legs. Your gaze simply couldn't help but travel downwards as you looked at the pokemon, taking in every detail to make sure this wasn't some kind of trick being pulled by your mind.
It couldn't be, the grip of Uxie was quite real, as it was the hand holding you, as it was its body, tails, womanhood and-
... Womanhood?
Your gaze lingered in between the legendary's legs, where a thin, pink, slightly damp slit rested. You were dumbstruck, weren't all legendaries genderless? Of course, there were a few exceptions such as Latios, Latias or Cresselia, but-
The giantess holding you cleared her throat, causing your gaze to travel back at her on its own.
Her closed eyes seemed to be staring right down you as she spoke,
"Well, isn't this utterly singular. A human whose size is incredibly reduced," she said,
"Your kind is bigger than this, aren't they? So I must assume that you shrunk down to this size."
Her voice sounded monotone, but you nodded anyway despite the fact you were having a hard time following the pixie.
A timid sentence escaped your lips,
"Please... don't hurt me..." you squeaked.
Uxie cocked her head.
"Now now, no reason to be afraid. I would gain nothing by causing you any harm, human," she spoke soothingly as a gentle smile appeared on her face.
"I just want to ask you a few questions, if that's alright."
It didn't seem like you had any other choice, so you timidly nodded.
"O-Okay... I'll-" you abruptly interrupted yourself, a thick cloud of vapor escaping your mouth.
During the whole conversation, the cold never ceased to penetrate your body, like countless invisible pins.
Lost in fear, you had forgotten about it, and apparently Uxie didn't even notice it.
At least until now, when you were about to freeze to death.
The jaw of the guardian hung open as you began whispering for her help, your vocal chords having shut down all of a sudden.
The giantess stared at you, seeming to be pondering her choices while trying to process the fact that you were dying in her paws.
"Okay, keep calm, I know what to do." she spoke, but you weren't really listening anymore.
So cold...
Your vision grew blurry, your body felt weightless (as it probably was anyway).
Was this it? Were you dying?
You couldn't-
A wave of heat spread through your body as you opened your eyes, noticing Uxie pressing you against herself with both paws, her bodily heat transferring to you as she did.
But it simply wasn't enough.
Your eyes closed back up.
Everything became dark as your consciousness faded.
Uxie took notice of that.
"Damn..." she mumbled as she released you, bringing her gigantic head to your small body.
A sliver of relief entered her: your heart was still working. There was still hope to save this human!
Hastily, Uxie lifted her head from you; without even thinking, she shoved your whole entirety inside of her mouth, past her teeth and onto her tongue, her lips falling back in place immediately after.
‘Should be enough to keep him alive...’ she thought, careful to not open her mouth for any reason. Any breath of the cold air could be lethal to you right now.
With the major problem solved, Uxie looked around, noticing your abandoned clothes and bag, now impossibly big for you and still quite large to her.
With Psychic, the pixie quickly gathered all of your belongings and wandered off into the forest.
--
You didn't know how to feel.
You felt weightless, but no longer cold like you had been before.
Were you dead?
Was this how death was like? Because it wasn't as bad as they said, aside from your back being placed on a hard surface, though something soft and warm was upon you.
Slowly, you began opening your eyes, mentally bracing yourself for what they were going to met with.
Everything was blurry and... yellow?
"H-Huh...?" you whispered as your vision began clearing a bit, revealing the face of the Uxie you met before. So... that wasn't some sick fever dream, you really risked dying.
Perhaps you were dead for real and this in front of you was the spirit of the legendary, you had heard her spirit could split from her body.
Seeing you awake caused Uxie to smile.
"Am I... alive?" you dumbly asked.
"You wasted a question, human," the pixie replied, though her smile remained,
"... But you were extremely close to your grave. I-" Uxie trailed off and blushed, recalling how she placed a naked human inside her mouth without thinking.
"... Brought you here."
For the first time since your awakening, you took a moment to look around: you were in a cave, roughly wrapped up in some sort of fabric.
You recognized it as the sleeve of the shirt you were wearing before your mysterious shrinking happened. Looking elsewhere, you spotted your bag laying in a corner. Sunlight crept inside the cavern, and you discovered that you were laying on a rock.
Your gaze went back to Uxie.
"You... saved me." you muttered, your cheeks flaring up.
"... Thank you."
The giantess smiled.
"Easy there, you need to rest. And eat something, too, so I don't think you'll mind if I took something from your bag for you to consume." she said while a bar of chocolate you had brought levitated closer to you.
A few squares missed from it, suggesting that Uxie had her taste of it.
With some effort, you removed the sleeve of your shirt from your naked body and inched closer to the food, giving it a few bites.
"Now, may I ask you something? How did you get in such precarious size? I mean, there are pokemon that live perfectly with it, but you humans seem to lack the capability to survive with such height." she declared smugly, though keeping a gentle smile.
Given how she was the reason of you being still alive right now, you weren't able to feel mad for her comment.
"I really don't know..." you replied as you brought a hand to your forehead, feeling it damp under your palm.
"I was just wandering around, y'know, a break from the city and stress, but I... randomly fell asleep. When I woke up I was like this, and you were there and-" you stopped in mid-sentence, lacking courage to finish it.
Uxie nodded.
"Seems a complicated situation." she admitted.
"Can you help me?" you suddenly asked.
Uxie cocked her head.
"If you are referring to your utterly mysterious shrinkage, I don't know about it. My apologies." she bluntly stated, and you felt your heart sinking.
"B-But... didn't you make knowledge?" you inquired, causing the pixie to blush.
"Of course. That means I'm smarter than most creatures and - forgive me - you. But I lack enough information to tell how you ended up in such predicament."
Again, you were having a hard time following her, but at least you got the gist of her speech: she didn't know how to help you.
You sighed.
"Well... can you... keep me with you at least?" you asked again, causing the legendary to adopt a thoughtful expression.
She hovered backwards.
"Keep you with me?" she parroted back,
"I'll have you know, human, this cave is not where I reside. I'd have to bring you along if I did."
"To a lake, right?" you asked, and she smiled at you. It made sense.
"It doesn't matter, I need someone to watch over me. It's like you said..." you adopted the most pitiful expression you could muster,
"I can't survive like this." indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
