Debbie laughed. "I think it's cute, she's actually happy for once," he said.
"I'm glad she's happy too, Deb," Mark said. "I just wish they'd be a little...quieter about it, I've never seen so much PDA in my life."
Debbie giggled. "Yeah, I know what you mean, I feel bad for Taylor. She's not going to get much sleep..."
Mark laughed. "Maybe, she can sleep anywhere though!"
"True," Debbie giggled. She was enjoying getting to spend some time with Mark without the others around. She had had a crush on him for as long as she could remember, though she had never plucked up the courage to tell him. He was very hard to read sometimes; they always seemed to get on so well, but he had never made any moves, which made it seem like he wasn't that interested. Maybe this weekend away would change that though.
Mark opened up the door to their cabin and stepped inside. He flicked a light switch and a dim light flickered on above them. The cabin itself was immaculate and untouched. It was smaller than Zac and Tiffany's, but very cosy. It had two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a front room with a fireplace, sofa and set of drawers.
"Rustic," Mark said, nodding towards the fire.
"I like it, it's cosy," Tiffany said.
Mark took his stuff off to his room, and Tiffany unpacked her clothes and books. Her room was small, but she really liked it. The bed was only a single, but when she tested it, it was plenty comfy. She exited the room again and collided with Mark. "Oops, sorry," she blushed.
"No worries," Mark said, gently touching her arm as he walked back to the front room.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
