When Elsa and the Snow Queen turn up

Here are the options:

1) Ingrid decides the best way to ensure nobody can ruin her plans is to shrink Emma and her daughter Elsa (My head cannon, MINE, you can't take it away from me. You can agree or disagree but that's it) and keep them with her until everything has blown over.

2) During the interrogation of Ingrid Emma's magic lashes out and becomes unstable, trying to pull itself together it's drawn to something that should do the trick: Ingrid herself. But while Ingrid's magic is older, more mature and most importantly stable, it's also an Ice Core, and when it interacts with Emma's chaotic magical core it cools and compresses, taking Emma's size along with it

3) Elsa blasts Emma with magic in a panic, but due to Emma unlike Anna having magic her ice mixes weirdly with the other blond's magic and she ends up shrinking to about 5 inches tall. Not exactly helping Elsa's worry, or her own slight numbness due to the cold
