The Collector's shelves were filled with heads of varying shapes, sizes, ages, colors, and dispositions, but the one she eventually decided upon didn't look like a head at all. It looked like a full faced motorcycle helmet, large and yellow with an impenetrably dark tinted black visor, a large sideways 'S' painted above the left eye, and two large triangular protrusions on top mimicking cat ears. The helmet belonged to, was handmade by, and was now almost permanently worn by, a teenaged girl named Ami. Ami was a huge fan of anime, and apparently based this helmet off a character in one of her favorite shows, Celty. Based on The Collector's somewhat hazy recollection of Ami's constant ramblings, Celty was a dullahan who'd misplaced her head and now wore a motorcycle helmet out in public to disguise her true nature while she searched for her head. The Collector didn't really watch much TV, whether it be live action or Japanese cartoons, but she did enjoy the fact that this Celty had made it absurdly easy to capture Ami. The Collector had seen her at some sort of convention wearing her full Celty costume, babbling to her friends about how awesome she was and how cool it would be to meet a real dullahan. While not technically a dullahan, The headless Collector in search of pretty heads to wear, dressed coincidentally in a thick black leather jacket and skintight black jeans (her standard attire when stalking out in the woods, which she'd just gotten back from that night having found nothing worth taking) made Ami practically throw herself into The Collectors arms and offer her head on a silver platter.
Attaching the helmeted head to her shoulders, The Collector's mind was immediately bombarded by Ami's excited thoughts. "OHMYGOSH THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH! OH MY GOSH, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? WE GONNA GO OUT COLLECTING OR RIDE AROUND TOWN ON A MOTORCYCLE OR JUST HANG OUT OR WHAT?"
"Easy now." The Collector said, controlling Ami's lips and speaking aloud in a muffled voice with a slight Japanese accent. This helmet was a bit too tight.
"Sorry, I'm just so excited!" Ami responded. Indeed, despite being captured over a year ago her enthusiasm for her bodiless state hadn't waned. She got to spend all day talking to the other heads about all her favorite shows, several of whom were also into anime that she could have endless discussions with and others who didn't watch it that she could give detailed synopses to and recite episodes with a near encyclopedic knowledge, and each week she behaved the Collector would set her down in front of a laptop, purchase (or pirate) any shows Ami wanted, and let her watch her cartoons all 24 hours of the day. She behaved every week. "So, what's up? Why put me on?" Ami asked in The Collector's mind.
The collector informed her...
