Tanner opened the door the cabin and strode upstairs, Keiko tucked under his arm. He had to give Uncle Janus credit, the place was nice. No bugs, climate-control, and his signal didn't dip more than 1 bar since the old man's chauffeur dropped him off. Couple that with the money he got from his will, and he'd be able to order enough food to stay here and not have to worry about getting a job after this.
Tanner didn't know why the old man gave him the cabin. He understood why Bruce and his alleged silicone-sculpture wife got the house and family fortune, and why his workout buddies got the mountain getaway, and why that couple that saved him from the chinchilla attack and left without saying anything got that weird dictaphone, but why did he get a cabin? As much as he loved being the only person around for a few square miles, he hated the outdoors. He shook his head and opened the door to the second-floor landing.
Oh. That's why.
Tanner took a look at the pentagram drawn in blood, the server rack, and the computer, and put two and two together. He lovingly set Keiko on the ground, giving the fabric depiction of her animay tiddies a loving caress with the back of his hand.
"Be right back," he whispered, and strode over to the computer. Okay, he mused, looks like a wish-granting computer, but for sex. Also something about an apocalypse and a lady made of boobs. Kinky.
"Fair enough," he muttered to himself. There was that little entreaty from Uncle Janus telling him to destroy the computer, but he would have had to know that Tanner wasn't exactly the type to turn down the opportunity for sex and power. Clearly he didn't mean it.
Tanner waggled his fingers and hovered them over the keyboard. Where to start, where to start?
