As usual, Lewis can't catch a break from them. Jessica was being bratty today. Jennifer, not so much. Jessica bursts in, with Jennifer walking in. She was focused more on her phone, with an unamused face.
"Lew! We're hungry! Can you go downstairs and make something for us?" Jessica was bossy too.
"I voted tater tots, but she wants fries," Jennifer leaned on his desk. Her eyes still glued to her phone. "And don't try to use that banana ketchup. We want hot sauce."
Leaning back and slumping, Lewis stared at the screen. Jessica stood behind. She pounded her palms on his shoulders. Irritated, he turned around.
"What? We can't cook." Jessica crossed her arms with a pompous attitude. "Mom's not home. You're taking care of us, remember?"
She wasn't wrong. His mother is super busy at work. Being a single mother is hard work for her. He wished she had more energy so she can spend time at home. Leaving her selected, he sighed.
"Hurry up slowpoke!" Jessica nabbed his hand, dragging him.
Lewis yelped. Jessica was being extra pushy now. Jennifer didn't budge yet. She looked at the vacant chair and screen. She raised an eyebrow wondering what this, Photomerge thing was all about. She grew curious when she saw her mom was selected.
