Dont realize what's going on and explore

It's hot and humid as the sun beats down in the dense foliage. It's time to move and hopefully figure out where you are. You're not incompetent and can use the sun to try and stay on track. After an hour, you are starting the wear down, it's odd that you haven't seen any animals or birds. Then you see something odd. It looks like a cucumber but its huge, the size of a bus. Confused you sit down to try and figure out what's really going on. Just then...
