Cinder was frustrated, her search for information was going sideways and the library had yielded no answers. She opened the door and walked into her room, and while walking over to her desk, she tripped on a book laying on the ground. She fell kind of hard and when she looked over at the book she saw that it was a black leather-bound book with gold lettering on it.
When she got up and went to go look at it she noticed some writing on the cover. the writing on the cover said "The Book of Reality" "This has to be some sort of prank by Neo," said Cinder in disbelief, as she opened the book to the first page she received a small shock in her fingertips, wincing Cinder shook the pain out and started reading.
These are the rules of the Book, they are final and cannot be changed:
1. You are now the master of this book, you and only you control who can use the book by writing in permission to use the book for other people.
2. No one can take this book from you and it is indestructible.
3. You may not use the book to kill anyone.
4. Anything you do to reality will be a change only noticed by you, everyone else will regard it as normal, and this also extends to the book itself.
5. To negate any entry just cross it out or erase it.
After reading the rules and processing this new information, a smile slowly grew on Cinder's face. This was exactly the kind of thing that could help them achieve their plans and goals. This could be the big game changer, but first, she had to check to make sure that it worked and that it wasn't just a prank. She could try to use the book to help advance her own plans, like turning one of those goody two shoes onto their side to help them. She could also try out being on a different team to see what it would be like or just let loose and do something crazy. She found a pencil on her desk and started to write.
