With helping her friends still on her mind, she thought about her partner Weiss. Even though she and Blake are on good terms with each other, her experiences with the White Fang growing up still took their toll. Ruby wanted to help her get past it. So she wrote in the book.

Weiss was alone in the training hall working on her fencing forms when a sudden pain came from her belly. What could this be? She hadn’t eaten anything unusual at Breakfast. She knelt down wrapping her arms around her belly as the ache she felt seemed to be moving. She was so distracted by this that she failed to notice the white feathers that had sprouted from her hair, along with a patch of hair on top of her head that had turned red. With a final grunt of discomfort, Weiss had finally felt relief. But was bewildered by the white egg sitting beneath her on the training mat.

Ruby had yet to grasp the way the book was interrupting her vague entries. Of course the best way for Weiss to understand Faunus was to be one.
Ruby was feeling giddy at being “helpful” to her friends. So she thought _______ could also use some assistance.
