You sighed, relieved as the pencil stopped just before a pair of plump lips. They hissed a sheepish "Sorry!" before you were quickly pulled away. Having dodged that toothy bullet, you looked over the next few questions. You were able to relay the answers to Melody with ease. You groaned inwardly as she flipped the page. The test wasn't difficult at all but it wasn't a short one either.
Things went on fairly uneventfully. Occasionally the teacher would stroll by, making sure no one was cheating. Melody, for all her ditzyness, effectively hid you from her roving gaze. Whenever the instructor would pass her, the giant cheerleader would put on a look of frustration. She'd pretend to chew on her eraser as she struggled with the question. "Well, you can't say she lacks resourcefulness." You thought as the damp bulk of her tongue pressed into your back.
After an hour of ridiculously easy historical questions and a few trips inside a minty-scented maw, you and the pencil were finally stuffed into the backpack. You tumbled around blindly as the giant blonde practically skipped back to her dorm room.
"You're the best, Scott!" Melody reached into her bag, scooping you up roughly. She pressed you in to her cheek, lightly squashing you in her best attempt at a hug.
"Glad I could help..." You awkwardly squeezed her soft skin with you arms, trying to accept her display of gratitude.
Melody flopped back onto her bed, giggling as she lofted you high above her face. A goofy, ludicrously cute grin plastered her enormous countenance. "This is, like, the coolest thing ever. You're just like the little cricket from Peter Pan! You can sneak around and tell me everything I need to know."
"Okay, hold on. First of all, the cricket's from Pinocchio. Second, I'm here to tutor you, not just feed you answers."
"But I have a Bio test in a few days! I am literally gonna fail if you don't help me!" She gave you an exaggerated pout.
It took all your willpower not to melt against her world-class puppy-dog eyes. "If you're so worried about the test we should start studying now."
"Ugh, fine." She huffs, sitting up. She lets you fall onto the sheet before getting up to grab her Biology textbook. Your eyes were drawn to her swaying rear as she walked. Her pale, blue jeans were practically painted on. You tried to shake your mesmerized expression as she turned around, book in hand.
Melody flipped through the pages trying to find the right chapter. Was it eight or nine? She was so busy searching she didn't notice your tiny shout as she sat down on the bed.
