One of Rouge's favorite places in any GUN base was the Contraband Locker, where all artifacts, weapons, and treasures deemed too powerful are locked away. She wasn't supposed to be there, of course, but that never stopped her before, and she figured there was nothing wrong with a little "window shopping."
It was when she was glancing over a shelf of ancient scrolls that a mysterious tome drew her attention. While she wasn't an avid book reader (she was more of a magazine person,) there was something about this book that she couldn't resist, almost like it was calling to her. She picked it up and looked inside.
