You struggle to get up the stairs of your apartment, but eventually give up. You sit down and lean back against the stairs to take a break. As you catch your breath, you keep an eye out for any people or Pokemon.
Before long, you see a girl about your age entering the parking lot from the sidewalk. She’s wearing a red hat, a floral-print shirt tied at the bottom, and green shorts. She’s carrying a Popplio in her arms, so you assume she’s a trainer. As they enter the parking lot, the girl walks to an empty corner, sets her Popplio down, and talks to it.
“Alright, girl,” she says. “Here’s a good spot to practice your moves. Flat, no cars around. Ready?”
Popplio stands up on her tail and claps her flippers, then begins training. Following her trainer’s commands, she uses various moves, spraying bubbles and water around and launching bursts of fairy energy. You watch from a distance, impressed at the young Pokemon’s skills, and amused by all the bubbles floating around in the air. You even walk a bit closer to get a better look.
You wonder if you should get their attention. They might be friendly, and able to help you get into your apartment and back to your Indeedee. But there’s a risk they won’t be nice, so you keep your distance, unsure of what to do.
However, you’re so distracted by the Popplio’s moves that you don’t notice one of the many bubbles she blew is drifting to you. All of a sudden, the bubble floats quickly towards you, blown by a gust of wind. It hits you, and in an instant, you’re sucked inside and trapped. You gasp and try to push through the bubble’s wall, but it’s too sturdy. You yell, but nobody hears you. The bubble blows around on the wind, flying above the parking lot, and you’re terrified about where you’ll end up.
Meanwhile, the girl and her Pokemon are still practicing moves, and they don’t notice the tiny person in the bubble floating around the area...
