Chapter #3New plan... by: Tisch Not wasting any more time, Jack released himself from Jessica's grip, and slid down her chair. Irritated, Jessica looked down to try and find him. Once Jack made it to the ground, he sprinted as fast as he could towards Trish and her friends to try and hide between them. Jessica finally noticed him when he was about a quarter of the way to Trish, and got out of her seat to nab him. Fortunately for Jack, his small size allowed easy maneuverability between desks and could distance himself from Jessica with ease. Jessica, though, was having a less nice of a time and was growing more and more irritated by the moment. With too many desks in the way, Jessica lost Jack and went back to her chair, fuming. Jack looked back to see if Jessica was following him, but he was relieved to see that she had given up. He continued over to the cheer group and thought of a plan to get one of them to notice him.
It took him a little while to come up with a plan, but Jack finally thought that he could get the attention of at least one of the girls, if he ascended to a high enough vantage point. He climbed the nearest desk, making it to the top with ease, but he was still a little too far away for them to notice him. Looking around the desk, Jack noticed that there were several scraps of paper and some tape. He thought that maybe he could make a makeshift paper airplane and fly onto one of the girls. He took no time at all with the materials that he was given to make a sturdy, hopefully functional paper airplane which could hold his weight. Jack looked over at the girls, who were still chatting with one another, then decided to make his move.
Jack took a running start then jumped right at the edge of the desk and hoped that he flew. And he did! Even the steering was highly functional! Now that he didn't have to worry about the airplane even working, Jack was able to focus on his flight path. With the trajectory that he was taking, Jack looked to be heading towards the base of Trish's, the leader of the group, shirt. Without any issues, Jack made it, exactly where he was aiming for, in less than a few minutes, and when he hit the base of Trish's shirt, he ditched the plane and started his ascent towards Trish's face.
But does he make it all the way up? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
