Out of the woods

Since I can't edit chapters the way I could since I don't have an upgraded account there is a change here.


You decided to go check around the parts of the forest you do know by the back of your hand. You have seen signs of others in the forest, some of which you do not wish to disturb out of your desire to stay alone. And others because they have left ghastly things behind. There are dark things in this forest, things you do not think you have the strength to take on as you used to. Or at least not yet anyway. Your powers are returning ever so slowly.

You set out on your neighborhood watch, finding nothing of note so far. You found a wild blue berry bush, helping yourself to to a snack when you saw the nearby lake.

What will you do now?
