It wasn't the most accurate map as it failed to make notice of many landmarks, features, and towns on this continent, but you're willing to chalk it all up due to the age and state it was in. You took the time to study it before putting it down ten minutes later. You were not willingly to put up the energy to take a week to walk to one of the Sultanates, and a trip to Naulabtes would take two weeks at the least on foot. You're surprise that Naulabtes is even still a thing. The last time you saw it was during the last week of your evil life, and it was a growing city all those centuries ago. Nowadays it's a bustling city-state that looks like it's from a dark Gothic fantasy from what you hear.
You take a sack of provisions and a few weapons, some of which were used by you in your past lives, and head out.
Today you were going to explore parts of this forest that you haven't been to. The part that all signs point to evil and dark things obviously live in. Things like creepypasta monsters, midlevel fantasy monsters, and evil cultists live in. Why? Because screw the they've been keeping you up for days. You hear the shrieks and screams. The sounds of death, chanting, and you can see the weird occult lights from your house. No seriously fug these guys with a rusty saw. Additionally, over the centuries and your past lives there might be something interesting hidden away in this part of the forest.
You could find some objects of power from your past lives, or find the life's work of scholar that outlived the man himself. You never know what you might find in this crazy world.
You come across and entrance to the deep woods that had three dirt roads. Which way will you go?
