With the ritual complete you learn her name is Magenta and you force her to study necromancy. It will prove most benificial to you, and now none of the negative effects of such study will befall yourself.
Apparently Magenta has a boyfriend but he's also just 15. Besides what kind of boy would go on an epic quest to slay a newly rising evil and save his hot half-elf girl? That's just crazy talk.
