Brianna watched the tiny figure of her little brother lying on the bed amongst the smoke. He was the size of a grain of Rice Krispies cereal, so small, she could flick him into her mouth and swallow him without much effort. The genius beamed with pride, happy to see her shrinking chamber was a complete success, and gushing over how immensely little her already little brother was.
As Tommy emerged from the smoke, disoriented by the effects of the flashing lights, he stumbled forward on a large metal platform and nearly fell off the edge and down a large pitfall. The boy screamed as he fell three stories in the air, but was fortunate to land on something warm, soft, and firm
"Oops! Careful, Tommy!" came the advisory warning of Brianna's voice. "You almost fell to your death just then."
As Tommy laid on the soft ground that caught him, he looked up and screamed at the sight of Brianna's enormous smiling face looming over him like a goddess. She looked like a living brown-haired colossus with a Hime cut hairstyle and big square glasses. Her cupped palms in which she caught him from falling to certain doom was as large as an entire school track. If Tommy was normal sized, then Brianna would be an eager eighty foot giantess.
“What happened!? Why is everything so big!?” Tommy yelled.
“Everything didn't go big,” Brianna’s voice echoed above him. “You were just shrunk is all.”
Tommy began to panic and scrambled towards the edges of the fleshy platform. A large shadow enveloped his tiny size, and suddenly, he was caught underneath Brianna's other palm, caging him in her hands. His temporary captivity lifted up in the air like he was on a gigantic elevator, opening to reveal the god-like sapphire eye peering down on his inch-tall form.
He shuddered and curled into a fetal position as the eye retracted away, revealing the full view of her face, including the details Tommy never saw before. The pores on her button nose, the slight puffiness of her lips, the amount of dust and dirt on her glasses lens, every detail that Tommy hadn't noticed due to him turning away from her consistently.
"Hello, there, my very little brother," Brianna said with a giggle.
"Ahhhh! Please don't hurt me!" Tommy begged his titanic sister like a revered goddess.
Brianna gaped at the plea. "Hurt you!? Why would I want to hurt you?"
"Because I've been so mean to you because I hated your experiments, and you were so mad at me that you shrunk me down and now you want to hurt me!"
Tommy hugged and sobbed uncontrollably, crying into the skin of his giant sister's palm. Brianna looked down at the poor boy and pouted sadly with pity. Knowing what had to be done, she brought her tiny younger brother to her face and gently nuzzled his tiny body with her cheek. "Shh, shh, shh, it's okay, Tommy. You don't have to be afraid. I'm not gonna hurt you."
"Yes, you are! I was so mean to you and now you wanna eat me or crush me like a bug!"
"What!? I could never do that to you! I can't believe you would think that, Tommy! I'm your big sister and I'll always love you, but the way you make it sound like I deliberately want to hurt you makes me wanna cry." Brianna felt a little quiver in her voice. The implication that she would deliberately harm Tommy by shrinking him down made her feel like crying. She gently kissed Tommy on the head and sniffed.
"I'm sorry if my inventions hurt you in any way, Tommy, but I never meant to do that. You used to love my inventions so much that you wanted me to test them out on you."
"Please, just... just turn me back, please..."
Brianna gave one sniffle and wiped a tear from her eye. She gently nudged Tommy's body with her fingertip and turned him over onto his back so he would face her. "Okay, Tommy, I'll reverse the shrinking process on you and I promise I won't subject you to anymore experiments," the genius girl compromised, "but I think it would mean a lot to me if you could do me the favor of helping me test out the full potential of the shrinking radiation. It's just one little thing, and then I won't bother you again, okay?"
Brianna received no response from her little brother. Then she wiggled her finger on his tiny body, and all of a sudden, the boy began to break out in laughter as he was tickled on the tummy. He rolled around in his sister's palm, clutching his belly and laughing while the gigantic fingertip relentlessly tickled his sides. "Okay, okay, I'll do it, just stop!"
Brianna squee'd with excitement. "Yay! I knew you would come through!" she exclaimed as she carried Tommy out of the chamber and to her workplace.
"Now, here's what we're going to do, Tommy," she said with a bright, wide grin.
1.) "We're going to test out your body's endurance at your size!"
2.) "You're going to test out my new shrinking medical submarine to explore the human body!"
3.) "You're going to be the first person in my colonizing capsule to cut down on overpopulation by living inside the human body!"
