The cow shed

Entering the cow shed, you look around in hope of finding some people. Despite the small flicker of hope inside you, there is no one here except for a number of plump, well fed cows. Judging by the smell of the stable, there might not even be people here at all. As you go to leave, there’s a sign above the door that says “milk Jess before leaving”. Normally you’d ignore the sign, but looking at the size of those cows, it might be a good idea to obey it. What do you do?
