Chapter #4

Hangin with the Girls (my version).

    by: G-Breaker Author IconMail Icon
On a lovely Saturday in Royal Woods, the home of the Loud family was very peaceful since most of the family was out doing their own things. The only Louds home were the oldest daughter, Lori, and her only brother, Lincoln. Lori was currently preparing a few things for a little get-together at her house. That was when Lincoln came downstairs with his face focused on a video game in front of him and didn't watch where he was going.

Lori was in the kitchen where she had snacks, drinks, music, movies, and some teen magazines prepared for when her guests arrive. She even had her favorite sweater on for the occasion and went over her checklist to make sure she had everything ready. "Okay, chips, dip and salsa, good. Soda and lemonade, good. Finger sandwiches, cookies, and, mini egg rolls, perfect." Lori noted everything and felt ready for her party.

However, she was so focused on her checklist that she didn't notice Lincoln coming into the kitchen. She was holding a bowl of one of her dipping sauces when her little brother suddenly bumped into her. They both fell on the floor as Lincoln snapped out of his video game induced trance and was met with a sight that he really didn't want to see.

Lori sat up and looked in shock to see that the sauce she held had spilled all over her sweater. She then noticed her brother and gave him an infuriated look as he looked back at her with a nervous grin. "Lincoln!" Lori angrily shouted as she got up. "You ruined my sweater, you clumsy twerp!"

"I-I'm so sorry, Lori! I wasn't looking where I was going." He apologized, but Lori didn't accept it as she grabbed him by the wrist and lifted him up.

"Now I have to change my outfit! And my friends will be here any minute!" She shouted.

"Friends?" Lincoln asked.

"That's right, twerp. I invited my friends from high school over for a visit today, and I was literally planning to impress them with my favorite sweater that my Bobby-Boo Boo Bear made for me." Lori explained. "And now thanks to you, it's ruined!" Lori shouted at Lincoln once again before pulling out a seat from the kitchen table and making him sit on it.

Lincoln was still frightened as Lori glared at him angrily. "Lori, really, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ruin your sweater. It was an accident!"

"Tough, Lincoln!" Lori scolded. "Because now, you're going to this visit too."

"I... am?" Lincoln asked in confusion. And Lori held him by the shoulders on the chair to make sure he understood why.

"That's right you are, twerp! So you better listen good." Lori commanded and Lincoln made sure he understood. "Since you just ruined my sweater, you're going to pay me back for it. So, this is what you're going to do. When my friends get here, you'll be our servant." She explained.

"I w-w-will?" Lincoln stuttered, causing Lori to furiously point at him and grab him by his polo.

"Oh yes. You're literally going to do everything I tell you. You won't talk unless I give you permission. You will obey us and get me and my friends anything we want. You will serve us snacks, get us our magazines, and if someone asks you for a drink, tells you to give them a manicure, or even wants you to give them a foot-massage, then you will do it. No hesitation and no questions asked. Got it?!" Lori shouted, which resulted in Lincoln shaking in terror.

"Y-y-yes, Lori." Lincoln fearfully answered with a gulp. "I promise, I'll do whatever you want."

"Good." Lori let go of Lincoln's shirt before making one last thing clear to him. "Now, I'm going upstairs to change my clothes. While I'm up there, you stay in here until I tell you to come out. And if you dare to eat any of my snacks while I'm gone or do anything to embarrass me in front of my friends, I swear, I am literally going to turn you into a human pretzel!" Lori threatened. Lincoln knew he couldn't get out of this mess, so he just silently nodded while Lori went to her room.

She gave him one last angry look, and Lincoln just sat down in the chair complying with her orders. Once Lori was gone, Lincoln just breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh man. Why me?" He said dejectedly. "I shouldn't worry. As long as I don't do anything wrong, I should be fine. I hope."

Lincoln gulped as he sat quietly in the kitchen waiting for Lori to return. Another few minutes passed and he was still waiting for her. "Sigh, how do I get myself into these messes?" He asked himself. "I wish I had a way out of this. Maybe I can sneak out of here? Nah, Lori would kill me if did that." He looked around and saw nothing he could do to escape. So, he just sat there waiting for her.
