Tiny Men Tell Some Tales

(Originally written by Hectic)

Looking around at the overwhelmingly messy room, part of you wanted to offer to help her clean it up a bit. But quickly you shook that idea off. First off, lugging just one of her socks to the empty clothes hamper in the corner of the room would take you no less than 15 minutes. If you could even do it successfully in the first place. And second, you didn’t want to seem too judgmental of your new roommate’s messy habits so quickly. After all, the clothes being strewn about hadn’t been an issue for you… at least thus far.

Regardless, with every mysterious word that left Quinn’s mouth you felt yourself becoming more and more intrigued by her. Having your first few hours with the girl be spent with her knowingly compressing you into the second dimension underneath her ass caused you great fear initially. But your interactions with her since then have made it seem like even that action wasn’t out of spite, malice, or even apathy towards you like you thought. It was almost like Quinn believed in your ability to handle yourself even more than you believed in it yourself! This combined with what she said about her old friend Caleb made you desperately want to get to know this girl on a deeper level.

“So, it’s good to hear you have some experience dealing with tiny guys, Quinn. Not gonna lie, my heart nearly stopped when I first figured out that I had chosen to live with three regular sized girls earlier, but from the looks of it none of you seem like the type to do anything too harsh to me!” You nervously said up to Quinn. Part of you kicked yourself for being so forthright about your fears so quickly, but Quinn’s light chuckle and smirk reassured you that it wasn’t too much information too quickly.

“Heh, see Hunter, you’re partly right there,” she responded before leaning down, showing you a generous amount of cleavage without even realizing it, “but I wouldn’t get too cocky.” You raised an eyebrow suspiciously as she continued, “I’m not going to be looking to do anything to you… but at the same time I’m not going to be looking to not do anything to you either. Whether I notice you or not, if you find yourself between my foot and somewhere it’s stepping, my butt and somewhere it’s sitting, or anything else like that, you gotta be able to take care of yourself, got it!?”

By the end of her speech, Quinn was looking directly into your eyes as you returned the gesture. Her tone indicated the usual deadpan sarcasm with which she typically spoke, but despite this you could clearly tell that she meant every one of her words from the bottom of her heart.

Wanting to lighten the mood slightly without seeming like you were just avoiding the topic, you retorted, “Oh don’t worry, I’ve had more than my fair share of experiences with surviving situations like that! I’d like to think I’m pretty tough by now.” You bluffed slightly. While the mere fact that you were alive and free to live a somewhat normal life at that exact moment meant that you hadn’t had it as rough as some other tiny guys, you still knew deep down that your wellbeing was quite often out of your hands.

“Growing up it was just me, my mom Helen, and my younger sister Tracy for as long as I can remember.” You began to think back, Quinn relaxing a bit in her seat after her earlier words to you. You could tell from the get go that she at least cared enough about you to listen to you talk, a fact that you made sure to never take for granted when dealing with giant girls. “My mom was, and still is, in fact, one of the hardest working people I’ve ever known. She took good care of us without a doubt, but she was practically always working. The number one rule we had to follow was to never interfere with her work. Any time that either my sister or I would, she wasn’t afraid to get strict with us… to say the least. Beyond that, I lost track of how many times that she had to go away on business trips, leaving just Tracy and I to fend for ourselves sometimes, and other times calling on our Aunt Norah to house-sit for some of her longer trips.”

Quinn looked intrigued, “Well at least you always had your sister to look after one another. You two probably became super close huh? And that stinks that your mom was away so often though… I would have killed for some space from my mom growing up.” Quinn muttered the last half of her response to herself, just barely loud enough for you to hear. You wanted to ask her more about that, but once more you stopped yourself. You figured that she would tell you whenever she felt comfortable enough, and for that reason you decided not to pry further.

“Well, kind of. Tracy and I are good friends now, but throughout middle and high school it’s safe to say she went through a bit of an angsty streak.” You responded, looking down for a moment. Quinn was careful not to express too much emotion like usual, but you could still tell that she truly cared about what you were saying, so you continued. “Yeah, for some reason she felt like I was mom’s favorite or something, and was always looking to get me back for that for some reason. As much as I tried to convince her otherwise, she wouldn’t buy it. I frequently found myself at the mercy of her pretty mean-spirited pranks, or worse yet when she would try to set me up to get in trouble with our mom… but either way I always made it out in one piece!”

Quinn smirked slightly, she knew you were downplaying the severity of what you were telling her without a doubt, but at the same time it seemed like she somewhat respected your attempt to seem tough. She then perked up her head, “What about your Aunt then, Norah was her name? Surely she had to have provided a bit of a buffer between you and your sister during those years when she would look after you.”

You smiled back, “Once again, kind of,” you said with a chuckle. “When Tracy would mess with me around my mom, she had to be a little bit more tactical and sly about it, since she too would get in trouble if she was caught doing it. Whenever Norah would look after us, she never felt right punishing either one of us harshly, since we weren’t her kids after all. That meant that almost no matter what Tracy did to me, Norah would let her off no more than a slap on the wrists. On top of that, Norah was a pretty colossal airhead at times, she would frequently forget about me entirely, leave my fate in the hands of my sister, or simply not realize how much damage that she could do to me with her body. Plus, there was the added threat of Norah’s job. She was actually a tiny-specific job recruiter. I think she may even still be now. But either way, she was in charge of seeking out job-hunting guys like myself for positions in all kinds of fields of work. In all honesty I respected her for trying to help us dudes out like that… I just wished that she would have looked more carefully into some of the jobs that she was hired to do the recruiting for. There were a couple of times where she begged me to fill an emergency job listing when she couldn’t find anyone else, and I don’t think that she knew just what she was sending me into…”

Quinn’s eyebrows raised at the information that you gave her. From the sound of it, none of the three women who you interacted with most growing up were the type to coddle you or wait on your every need. This made her partly respect you for surviving such an upbringing, but deep down she did empathize with the hardships that you must have faced.

Part of you felt like again this was a lot to dump on someone you just met, but at the same time you felt an instant connection with Quinn. Deep down you wanted to know more about her, and you figured that if you shared enough of your past with her, then perhaps she would do the same.

“So, Quinn, what out of all that do ya wanna hear about?” You said confidently up to her. Some of these memories were a bit traumatic for sure, but at this point you felt comfortable enough to share them.

What does Quinn ask about?
