Mr. Kintobotnik flies the SCAS up to Anna's right eye, since we're facing her right side. He pilots it until her pupil is in the center of our view.
"Welcome, class,” said Mr. Kintobotnik, “to the eye!"
The students observe Anna's eye in awe, and they pull out their phones to take pictures of her eye. Most of the students have their flash turned on, though, so Anna saw some tiny lights flashing at her eye. She twitches her eye while the flashes go off.
"Hey! What's up with the lights?!” she furiously yelled.
Everyone heard Anna on the SCAS, commenting on the flashing. Not only could we hear her voice from outside, but from Mr. Kintobonik's phone as well.
"Kids, turn off the flash on your phones,” Mr. Kintobotnik tells us. “You're torturing poor Anna!"
The kids who had their flash on said that they're sorry and turn off the flash.
"Sorry about that, Anna,” Mr. Kintobotnik tells Anna on his phone.
"That's okay,” Anna replied. Suddenly, she's shocked to hear her teacher talk to her. She tells him, “Wait - how can you hear me? You're at, like, microscopic size!"
"We're live streaming this, y'know,” Mr. Kintobotnik answered.
"Oh, yeah.” She looks down at her phone to see her eye being recorded on the live stream. She comments, “Wow, I never noticed how pretty my eye looks up close!” She bends over to rest her arms on her desk. Her chest hovers above it. She blinked while she bended, so the SCAS got caught in her eye lashes.
"As you witnessed, class,” Mr. Kintobotnik taught, “Anna's eyelashes prevented us from getting in her eye. They also protect her from other intruders, like dust, dirt, bacteria, and viruses.”
He flies the SCAS off the eyelash and back in the air, centering at the pupil again. Now that we know what eyelashes do...
