You don't work directly for Lord Dominator. You actually work for a rather high ranking member of her forces, Cosma.

Cosma is a Saurian. Given how humans and Saurian's normally get along, you would think that being around her would be a horrible, horrible idea. However, you can't judge the individual on the actions of a majority apparently as she is around as good a boss as Dominator is.
