Everyone got into position. Palkia, Dialga and Acreus took the couch, sitting from left to right, while Giratina lay to the left on the soft carpet. Everyone took their controllers from the coffee table in front of them before Giratina even had the chance to view what he wanted. Palkia offered him one of hers. He smiled but declined the offer, and only asked that she passed him the remaining ones. She was happy to do so. She turned the TV on and navigated to Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
"Alright, Super Smash Bros Ultimate tonight, right?" Palkia asked.
"Yep." Arceus said, chiming in.
Palkia personally didn't love the game, but was still happy to play with her friends. "...Alright everyone, pick your character!"
Dialga smirked, "Yeah, everyone pick Giratina's."
Arceus and Dialga both laughed, but Palkia wasn't amused. She knew the two were joking, but she also knew Giratina took things more personally than them. "Come on guys, you had your fun last time. Now can we leave Giratina's alone and play the game?"
"Oh come on Palkia, let us have a little fun."
"That's the point of the game. So Dialga, can we please stop picking Bowser?"
"Yeah, alright. I mean who'd pick Bowser anyways?"
"Dialga!" Palkia exclaimed while hitting him lightly with her shoulder. He laughed in response. She looked over at Giratina, who was rolling his eyes at nobody specifically.
He sighed, "It's alright Palkia, just start the game."
She looked at him with sympathy and mouthed "Are you sure?" He nodded back lightly and everyone tensed as they mashed buttons with strategy. Although it appeared to Palkia that in Giratina's case, panic. Giratina was pummeled with blow after blow from Acreus and Dialga, but Palkia left him alone, trying to secretly assist him. Even Acreus started teaming up against Dialga, but that was because Dialga was using Falco to destroy everyone.
