Thomas wakes up on a typical summer day. After some light stretching he checks his clock to see it's 9:35 meaning his dad would still be using the living room TV before work. Since he can't use the ps5 on that TV he turns on his own. He grabs his switch pro controller and quickly realizes his switch isn't in the TV dock. He rolls his eyes, "Kat," he complains to himself. Annoyed he goes out to the living room where his mom and dad are drinking coffee while watching the news and as he suspects Katie is on the couch casually playing his switch in shorts and a t shirt. He goes and tries to snatch the switch but Katie pulls it away.
"Hey!" their mom says. "It's too early for you two to be fighting." Thomas tries to explain but his mom stops him. "Just let her play, you know the TV will be available when your dad goes to work." Thomas knew it wasn't worth arguing so he got himself some breakfast as he waited. After about 20 mins when Jake's's dad is getting ready to leave Thomas hears his phone ringing in his room, it was his girlfriend's ring tone. Wondering why she would call him so he goes to get his phone. When he checks he sees that the call is from Katie with a picture of her sticking out her tongue. That brat went in his phone to mess with him.
When he gets back to the living room he sees the brat was already starting up the Playstation. Annoyed Thomas goes to take the controller. After she dodges a few swipes for the controller he pulls her hair. She kicks him in the knee and he forms a fist with his hand. "Enough!" Their mom yells. "You can have your switch now so let her play on the tv."
"Mom," he starts but is quickly interrupted.
"20 minutes ago you were fighting for that switch and now that you can take it so you're fighting over something else." Thomas rolls his eyes knowing he lost as Katie gives him a bratty smile. He takes the switch and goes back to his room. When he was out of his mom and sisters sight he rubs his knee. Her kick was much stronger then it should of been. He plays switch for a bit...
