The Pokemon world started as we are familiar with it. However, in recent times, a strange phenomenon has arisen in this version of it. Over time, some Pokemon have begun to spontaneously transform into what have been collectively known as Anthros, through a process known as Anthrolution. This strange form of evolution usually happens at the same time as regular evolution from one form to the next, but can sometimes happen on its own. Not much is understood about the phenomenon as more details come out; the amount of details the characters are aware of are up to the author.
Here are the full details that authors should be aware of.
- The process of Anthrolution is typically triggered by a strong desire held by a Pokemon. Usually, this only happens with caught Pokemon with a strong bond to their trainer, desiring an even closer bond or greater strength to please their humans. Wild Pokemon have been noted to experience it as well, though they typically are ones with very intense desires that could potentially make them a risk towards humans.
- All anthros are at least somewhat sexual in nature for some unknown reason. As such, underage individuals are not allowed to train anthro Pokemon, and Anthrolution will rarely occur to the Pokemon of an underage trainer.
- There are four (technically three) different categories of anthro Pokemon, based on body type.
Anthro Body Types ▼ - Type 1: Feral: These Pokemon look largely like their non-anthro counterparts. The main difference is gaining a human level of intellect, the ability to perfectly understand and use human speech, and slight changes to the body to enhance gendered features (wider hips on females, for example, as well as visible genitalia).
- Type 2: Semi-Anthro: These Pokemon mostly keep their size and proportions the same. Non-bipedal Pokemon become bipedal, and all Pokemon gain characteristics of their sex such as genitals and breasts. A semi-anthro Eevee, for example, will be humanoid but still roughly the same size of a normal Eevee, having a cute shortstack appearance and pawed feet and hands.
- Type 3: Full Anthro: These Pokemon have humanoid appearances, growing to closer to regular human heights if smaller. These Pokemon will also feature more natural human physiques and body structure, though some may keep their natural feet or hand shapes.
- Type 4: Demi-Human: These anthros are not made through Anthrolution. Rather, this form refers to either humans who have been partially transformed by the TF Variant or offspring of humans and Pokemon, who have a slight chance to turn out as this Type rather than the Type of their parent Pokemon. These anthros look mostly human, but have at least one physical trait of a Pokemon, be it ears, tails, or even genitals. This category of anthro can also display Variants, though they are notably weaker than their naturally Anthrovolved counterparts.
- On top of the three types of anthro, there have also been reports of strange mutations in some Pokemon, likely responding to even greater, more specific desires. A list of all known Variants, as these mutations are known as, can be found below.
Variants ▼
- Hyper: The Pokemon will have at least one sexual feature (breasts, ass, cock, etc.) grow greatly larger than average size. Said feature will be intensely sensitive, and Pokemon will usually be able to still move despite the additional mass, even if it should be physically impossible. The change could be instant or can grow gradually over time after initial change.
- Gainer: Once thought to be a version of Hyper, this Variant causes a Pokemon to gain mass rapidly, leading to particularly weighty Pokemon. The fat distribution can very, from thicc and curvy hourglass, to pear-shape, to even massively obese blobs. In addition, some may experience this due to a massively heightened metabolism and hunger, while others may simply find themselves gaining weight out of nowhere.
- Macro: Pokemon will grow far larger than average, ranging from 2 to 100 times their natural height. Most will only receive a small boost. May induce a psychological effect of viewing those smaller than them as playthings or disposable, losing inhibitions and empathy in the process.
- Gender: Pokemon will either become the opposite sex as they were before or gain features of both sexes, becoming shemale or hermaphrodite.
- Shifter: Pokemon can shift between different forms at will, most notably between different anthro body types, though in some such as the Eeveelution lines, this can include alternate evolution forms.
- TF: Pokemon has the ability to transform humans into anthros at will. The method varies from Pokemon to Pokemon; some can do it with the snap of their fingers or just by willing it, others may need to do something such as breastfeed, kiss, or some other method to trigger the change. Most often seen in wild Pokemon, who are considered dangerous for wanting to transform any human they come across.
- Vore: Pokemon has a nearly insatiable hunger and desire to consume other living creatures whole, even able to swallow beings larger than themselves. Some Pokemon with this Variant have the ability to "respawn" their prey or hold and release them without digestion. Some can even consume others with parts other than their mouth. Most often seen in wild Pokemon, who are considered dangerous for having no trainer to teach self-control.
- Shrink: Pokemon has the ability to shrink others, especially humans. This effect can be caused in a variety of ways and may or may not be permanent. Some Pokemon may not even be consciously in control of this ability.
- Bimbo: Pokemon is naturally flirty, ditzy, and cheerful. May also have reduced intelligence, heightened libido, and exaggerated sexual features. Also available in Himbo flavor.
- Muscle: Formerly known as Amazon. Pokemon will be larger than average, often gaining muscle mass in the process. Will also gain a more dominant personality. Males becoming shemale is now known to be a result of this mixing with the Gender variant.
- Femboy: Only affects male Pokemon or anthros with Gender Variant that shifted female to male, resulting in a submissive anthro with a very feminine figure, yet male genitals. Can rarely shift into Bustyboy flavor, resulting in a male anthro with breasts.
- MILF: Pokemon will have a soft figure and a caring, often smothering personality like a parental figure. May gain a strong fetish for breeding. Also available in a fatherly, supportive DILF version.
- Hypno: Pokemon will have a strange ability to mesmerize humans or other Pokemon into doing whatever they command. This effect is more powerful than natural hypnotic abilities possessed by some Pokemon.
- Fusion: A particularly rare Variant that causes a Pokemon to fuse with its human master, transforming them into an anthro. The resulting anthro may contain both personalities in the same body or become a blending of the two individuals. Anthro is usually Type 2 or 3 due to the human in the equation, though in rare cases Type 1 may occur. Only observed in Pokemon trainer relationships, though it is theorized that a Pokemon could achieve this with another Pokemon, resulting in a hybrid. More study needs to be done.
- Slime: Pokemon's body will become made of a thick, viscous fluid that they can freely mold and morph. Not of much note on its own, but often interacts in odd ways with other Variants, as Slime Variant anthros tend to have addtional Variants as well.
Not all anthros will have variants. Some have been known to have multiple, though two is rare and three is even rarer, with no recorded instances of more than three occurring naturally. In addition, there may be more variant strains that haven't been discovered and recorded yet. (Feel free to come up with your own, within the rules.)
Absolutely No: underage sex, sexualized blood or gore (maybe can be implied with macro scenes), toilet or slob fetishes (some burping may be allowed in vore focused stories), foot fetish.
This is not a hard rule, but I would ask that you avoid from making a long chain of potential options. I don't like padding out stories with them, I would much rather you just write what you want to write than give people a bunch of options that go nowhere. I won't delete any, I'm just saying that I'd prefer you didn't do that. |
