A Costly Mistake Turned Into A Golden Opportunity

Arghhh what the heck happened to me, I can hardly see or hear anything at all and I got this raging headache. Aw crap I must've botched the dimensional travel ritual somehow, it's very fortunate for me that the lost of my senses and this darn migraine are only temporary plus I brought special herbs which should help in speeding up my recovery as a precaution in case my first attempt at this incredibly difficult bit of magic proved more troublesome than I could handle. After I retrieved the herbs from the pouch, I stored them in and forcing the bitter concoction down my throat I begin Feeling around what must be the ground to figure where exactly I am, It was surprisingly very soft which means you weren't in the room where I conducted the ritual. It was when I could finally see and hear clearly, and that annoying headache went away when I realized where I was. It appears I must be on some sort of gargantuan bed and after I heard something gently snoring behind me I turned around to see an equally gargantuan sleeping equine creature which was strangely purple and had a horn and wings, looks like the ritual sorta worked I guess?

I wasn't eager at all to return home right now, I 'borrowed' some very expensive spell ingredients from grandfather and wasn't too keen on the punishment awaiting me when I come back home. Grandfather was always interested in anything new, so maybe he'll go easy on me if I bring back some evidence of my venture to this new world.
