Heather jogged as fast as she could with her earbuds blasting music into her ears and her brown hair flowing behind her. Heather continued her run for a few minutes before she reached her resting point at the local park. Heather ran to a bench and sat down to catch her breath.
While she rested, Heather looked up to see what was going on at the park today. Several tots were playing in the sand area, most no older than Delilah. Meanwhile, several older children were running around the play structure, but Heather noticed a little girl who looked about five sitting alone with a doll and looking at the other kids.
“Hey there,” A male voice called. Heather saw a boy who looked between her age and Rebecca’s. “I’m Rick; what’s your name, or should I just call you babe?”
“Ewww,” Heather thought to herself, “Does that work on any girl?”
“What’s the matter, babe?” Rick asked, “Overcome by love?”
“I’m Heather,” Heather answered, “And I’m not interested.”
“That’s what they all say,” Rick responded, “Until we do the undercover work.”
Heather groaned, “There are children here, you know!”
“Yep,” Rick scanned the park with a look that made Heather sick.
“Pervert,” Heather thought to herself, “I bet you’d learn a lesson if those toddlers tossed you around!” Heather thought about using her powers on Rick but remembered her mother’s warning. “I bet Mom wouldn’t mind if I just had a little fun, and I was the one changing size.” Heather looked at the girl sitting alone. “She looks like she could use a friend or a visit from a living doll.” Heather then looked to the toddlers playing, “Then again, I always have fun when I play ‘twins’ with Delilah.”
