Dragon's Delve... You're not sure where the name came from, but this is the cave you now stand before. The pitch dark of night is chased away by the light streaming from this irregular mouthed cavern, jutting out from the side of a towering hillside. You suppose this opening looks sort of like a dragon's gaping maw, those illuminated holes are where its nostrils would be, and stalagmites make up its sharp teeth. Or are those stalactites? Which one was which again? Never mind, it doesn't matter right now. You were about to venture into this dungeon when you were stopped by that cheeky little bugger dancing in front of its pointy toothed entrance. The miniature sack of scales that now hurls insults in your general direction is a yippy little kobold!
"Ha-ha! Got yo'or light, Smoothskin!"
You didn't even have the chance to put the light of your lantern out before that dog-nosed little yapper snagged it right out of your hands! You've still got a wet streak on your hand where it licked you! You don't know what you're more angry about, the thievery or the vandalism of your own body, why the hell did it lick you?! A cyan tail pokes out and wiggles above a sickly mud-brown set of trousers, tattered and torn enough to expose speckles of a darker blue on their rear-end. You get a good look at this as the cheeky little devil wags their rear tauntingly at you!
"Oi! Hey! Give it back, you rat!"
Your shake your slobbered fist at them, but you're not really surprised to see it blow a loud, slimy raspberry your way from between it's own legs. It honestly wasn't your best insult, but was all your fuming mind could think of. You almost roar with rage when the kobold scurries back into the cave!
"Oh, for fu- I JUST GOT THAT THING!"
You scream your fury and sprint after the squeaky voiced thief!
The light dims and disappears beyond a maze of moist walls and utter blackness, but you continue to sprint after the click of their claws and the "Ki-he-he" this little whelp laughs your way!
