As MC stood outside the door to Carmelita's office, debating what to do in order to get what he wanted out of this situation...for frankly a needlessly lengthy period, he was...suddenly distracted.
Why, you ask? Well it turns out, he is not the only one currently planning on breaking in to said office. How does he know that? Because an anthro racoon fellow in a blue cap and sweater as well as a domino mask has just slipped into the office through an airvent.
...OK this is...weird. And confronts MC with an...interesting opportunity. Given that MC knows that Carmelita was at one point a rather well decorated interpol officer before being re-assigned to her class here due to failing to catch a particularly slippery superthief, its entirely possible that this gentleman is here for even more nefarious reasons than MC was debating, for all he knows this is some former terrorist that Carmelita caught who has now escaped and plans to... He doesn't know, plant a bomb in Carmelita's office or something.
And again, MC's only beef with Carmelita is, logically speaking, purely petty and not something that makes him actively hate or wish harm on her, so, if thats the case he does want to prevent the criminal from doing so. Beyond that, and admittedly a bit more selfishly, catching an actual criminal who was breaking into her office may just get Carmelita to up his grade a bit, which also solves the problem of his GPA dropping far better than him sneaking in, changing the grades and likely that being noticed within an hour or so...
So, with all this in mind and...really only one Ace up his sleeve for dealing with this kind of situation, MC forced the door open and blind-fired the Size-ray into the room, hoping to strike whoever was breaking in with it...
