One afternoon, John and Robert were driving down a country back road on their way back to the farm, after having spent the morning running errands in the city. The two of them where starting to get rather tired from the day's work, and we're looking forward to getting home to rest for the evening.
Little did they know, their day was about to take a very dramatic, and strange turn. About halfway to the farm, there was a bright, blinding flash of light about a hundred yards ahead of them, causing Robert to suddenly slam on the breaks. Suddenly, a car appeared where there was nothing a moment before, skidding down the road towards their truck. It managed to come to a halt mere inches from the front number of their vehicle, as the two of them coul only stare in shock and amazement.
The doors of the car opened, and out stepped two humans, an older man and a teenage boy. The older one wore a white coat and was grinning from ear to ear. "It worked! It actually works!" The teen looked around, rather unimpressed. "I don't know, Doc. This doesn't look like any other dimension to me."
Finally regaining their senses, Robert and John exited the truck. Both the old man and the teenager's eyes widened on seeing Robert. "Good Lord! A real live wolfman! See, Martin? We are in another dimension!" He approached Robert and shook his hand. "Dr. Irwin Greene, at your service. On behalf of our home dimension, let me be the first to extend a hand of friendship!"
Robert only stood there dumbfounded for a few moments before replying "What did you mean, your home dimension?" "Exactly what it sounds like! We come from another dimension separate from this one. An alternate reality, if you will. Please, tell me. Are there more like you? Wolf people, I mean."
Robert nodded "Yes, there are millions of others like me. As well as vampires and humans. Though, we mostly keep humans as food and pets, sometimes as slaves." At these words, the doctor's face paled. "Well, then it seems we've come to the wrong place indeed. If you'll excuse us."
Dr. Greene and Martin got back in their car, and tried to leave. Only to find that the fuel for the dimension traveling mechanism in the car was used up on the previous trip! "Oh no!" Dr. Greene cried on realizing he had made a terribly stupid mistake "I left the case of fuel back in our home dimension! We're stranded here!"
